A wise man once told me that the key to a good night’s sleep was your pillow. And ok, while Ash might not technically be a wise man, this is still sound advice.
Have you ever had that feeling where you can’t get comfortable on your pillow, and you’re tossing and turning all night waking up with a stiff neck? Then why would you make do with jeans stuffed into a fleece!?
A pillow is an incredibly personal thing, and in an ideal world you’d go to a shop which had all the different ones on offer. I found this one by coincidence on a camping review page, and took a chance. I have to say it paid off – I had plenty of good nights sleep, and found that this rolled up, and inflated nicely each day.
One thing to make sure of is to use a pillow case which you can easily wash. I’m looking into getting a nice silk one which will hopefully not become a festering site for unpleasantness…
