Baja Blues

Our last night in Hungary, and we managed to easily push on the 100 and something km distance to Baja, just near the Serbian border. An interesting place, we found a cheap hotel which happened to be hosting a “Blues Festival”. A festival it was not, but made for an entertaining (if not long) evening.
Once again we had smooth flat roads and a gentle tailwind in our favour, despite a chilly start and muddy roads.
We also passed what must be the hub of Hungarian Paprika production, fields and fields being grown, with those harvested either in enormous mountains or hanging from the eaves of households, sometimes completely covering a building.

I will miss Hungary its REALLY flat!

Tomorrow, we decide whether to skim through Croatia, or head straight into Serbia and further east.
