Offally Good

What a last night in Japan.
A nice visit to Mori Tower in Roppongi Hills.
The view was certainly impressive.
But then.
The rooftop sky deck then closed just before we got there. Great. My slr decided to completely stop working. Even better.
An earthquake shook the building and caused all the lifts to stop, stranding everyone on the top 52nd floor. Better yet. It’s Big Thunder Mountain all over again.
An American guy came over to us in a panic and started freaking out. This actually was quite entertaining.
A strangely placed exhibit about the Tour de France, and lots of shiny bikes to oggle at. Again, rather superb.

All this was finished off by a final, delicious meal of grilled meats (we’re talking intestines, hearts, tongues and “head parts”), washed down with plenty of beer. Delicious.

A memorable last evening in Japan.

Tomorrow: Seattle.

  1. It never rains, but it pours, eh?
Glad you enjoyed your meal; I know some who couldn’t stomach it (excuse the pun). Happy flying, guys :)
