Pain in the Arse

Time to quit procrastinating and decide on the seat that I’ll be sat on for the next two years. Finding a saddle that’s perfect for touring, and more importantly perfect for your body is no simple task, and so the first step is measuing the size of my sit bones to make sure I go for the right size. In lieu of a Specalized Ass-o-meter, I’ve gone for the old “flour in a bag” technique.

AssometerBelow you’ll see that I’ve opted to use a Pret a Manger bag, but you may perhaps prefer a Tescos, or even Waitrose bag. Just make sure there are no holes in it.
