The Midas Touch

Had a painfully short day today, climbing up to around 1350m, to visit the tomb of King Midas. The headwind and steep climbs have pushed my knee back to rather horrible pain again, with each motion of the crank feeling like there are cracks in several places…
With that in mind, we’ve decided to alter our route again to take the relatively flatter route through the heart of Turkey, which will hopefully give my knees some chance to recover.

The main concern then being to find enough water, and to hope that there are places open to buy food.
